Important Update: Rent Adjustment for Parkwood Mobile Home Park

 

As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe, comfortable, and thriving community for all residents, we want to inform you about an upcoming adjustment to the monthly rent.

Effective March 1, 2025, the monthly rent for Parkwood Mobile Home Park will increase to $410. This decision was not made lightly and reflects the growing costs and investments necessary to ensure our park remains a place you’re proud to call home.

Why is the Rent Increasing?

We understand that rent adjustments can raise questions, so we want to provide full transparency about the reasons behind this change:

1. Property Maintenance:
   Regular upkeep is essential to ensure the safety, functionality, and appeal of the park. This includes maintaining roads, landscaping, utility systems, and common areas, as well as addressing ongoing repairs and upgrades.

2. Operating Costs:
   Rising costs for utilities, waste management, insurance, administrative services, staffing, and essential services directly impact the expenses associated with operating the park.

3. Inflation:
   Like all businesses, we face the challenges of inflation, which increases the cost of materials, supplies, and services needed to maintain the community.

4. Market Adjustments:
   The rent adjustment also helps align our rates with current market trends in the area, ensuring that we remain competitive while continuing to provide a high-quality living experience.

We understand that any change in rent can be a concern, and we want to assure you that this decision was made after careful consideration. Our goal is to continue providing a well-maintained, welcoming, and vibrant community for all residents.

Your Options and Next Steps

We value our residents and want to make this transition as seamless as possible. Here are your options moving forward:

• Continue Your Lease:
  If you wish to stay with us, you don’t need to take any immediate action. Your new rent of $410 will automatically take effect starting March 1, 2025.

• Move-Out Notice:
  If you choose to vacate, we kindly request that you provide written notice at least 30 days in advance of your planned move-out date, as per the terms of your lease agreement.
